Hey everyone!

It is brilliant to finally be looking forward to our wedding again after two Covid postponements! Since our original wedding date, we have moved cities (twice!) and are now living in Durham. Because of this, we've changed our venue and are now getting married in the North East.

This website should have all the information you need for our day. There is also a place to RSVP - please do this before 1st June 2022.

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to Durham in August and finally celebrating our marriage together!

Wedding Ceremony

Both our wedding ceremony and reception are being held at St. Chad's College in central Durham. St. Chad's College is located on North Bailey, next to Durham Cathedral.

There is no parking at the venue, but it is within a short walking distance of many of Durham's city centre hotels. Alternatively, taxis are able to drive up North Bailey.

Please arrive at 3pm for a 3.30pm ceremony.

Following our ceremony, please join us for our reception! There will be a drinks reception in the garden (weather permitting!) and dinner in the hall.

Travel & Transport

Car Train Taxi Coach Plane

St. Chad's College is located in Durham city centre, next to Durham Cathedral. There is no on site parking and there is a £2 daily charge to drive up North Bailey. The college is within walking distance or a short taxi ride of many city centre hotels, but if you wish to drive into the city, there are nearby car parks:

Prince Bishops Car Park (7 minute walk)
Walkergate Car Park (10 minute walk)

Durham City Centre is easily accessed via the A1(M).

St Chad's College is around five minutes drive or 15 minutes walk from Durham Railway Station. Durham is on the East Coast Mainline and there are regular trains from London and Edinburgh.

Durham Cathedral Bus operates a cheap bus service between the station and the cathedral on Monday to Saturday. Buses arrive every 20 minutes and cost £1 each way.

There are several local taxi companies operating in Durham City. Uber is available in Durham, but is usually quieter outside of university term time so there may not be as many cars available during August.

St. Chad's has rooms available on-site at a discounted rate for our guests. These include single, double and twin rooms. Some rooms are ensuite, whilst others have shared facilities.
